I do not like to...
Illustration
I do not like to go barefoot. You will never find me without shoes, slippers, or other footwear. My feet seem to be quite vulnerable. Every time I have gone barefoot, I've either stubbed my toe or stepped on something sharp. I'm envious of people who do go barefoot. We have friends in another state who always go barefoot, the whole family. If you go to their home, you will find shoes all over the place, but none on their feet. The mother of that family tells me she has gone barefoot for so many years that the soles of her feet feel like leather. Still, I am unconvinced.
