Leader: You made us male and female in your image and we praise you, dear God. You gave us strength in body and mind to do your will. You call us to follow you boldly and to call others to know of your love. We praise you for the promise that you have fulfilled in your son Jesus Christ. We come now asking that in his name you will bless all men who offer praises to you this day. We remember with thanksgiving the patriarchs of old who trusted you and led your people to new lands. People: We praise and bless your name, O God.
