THE WONDER OF WORDS: BOOK 2
ONE-HUNDRED MORE WORDS AND PHRASES SHAPING HOW CHRISTIANS THINK AND LIVE
A little boy was confined to his house one rainy Sunday afternoon. He began to pester his father who wanted to take a nap. The father said, "Go away, son. Daddy's sleepy. Find something to play with." The boy whined, "I got nothing to play with." The father got up from the couch, picked up the Sunday newspaper, and found a large map of the world printed on one of the pages. He took a pair of scissors, cut the map out, and then cut it into many irregular shapes like a jigsaw puzzle. He told his son to put the map together, then turned over on the couch for a good nap.
