How Vulgar Can We Be?

Purpose Statement: What are the limits of acceptable vulgarity for the Christian?
Is it "zero tolerance"? Or does being "down to earth," "only human," or "one of the good old boys (girls)" give us permission for a certain amount of crudity, within limits? What are we discussing? The vulgarity would include, for example, cursing (there seems to be a progression from darn to damn to ...) and telling, or tolerating, crude jokes concerning sex, racism, or other subjects either of a "delicate" nature, or told in an inappropriate manner.
