Ordination is a historical honor...

Ordination is a historical honor given to persons for particular ministries. The office of Elder, for example, spans both Old and New Testaments. In ordination, someone is set apart through first being called by God, and then God's believing community. Potential elders are tested and questioned before being installed for service. A lot hinges on their ability to give good answers. Not all game shows are created equal. Some generate more respect than others. Jeopardy is a nightly game show that has earned credibility by using a question/answer format.
