I was living my dream...

I was living my dream of owning a business in my birthplace of Cincinnati, Ohio. I was an active layman in my church. But my dream collapsed. My business failed and my life took a turn. I did what seems to be the usual response: I asked God, "Why?" Why did I have to endure a painful business bankruptcy? The temptation was to be angry with God. How could this fit into the scheme of things when the Bible says: "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28 NIV)? That was 23 years ago.
